Last October, we added to our team with the hiring of Joshua Cason, who joined as a Digital Marketing Executive, fresh from graduating from university.

As he celebrates his six-month anniversary with us (doesn’t time fly!), who better than the man himself to give you an update on his progress…
“Hello, I’m Josh. I am a Digital Marketing Executive here at DigitalKOG, and I’m going to share an insight into how my first six months have gone.”
About Me
In the summer of 2021, I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University, with a degree in Digital Media and Communications.
It was now time to enter the ‘real world’ of work and I managed to secure this role, my first job in marketing.
There has been a lot to take in, but I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far.
My Job
My role is primarily focused on PPC advertising and driving traffic to our clients’ websites.
Each client has a budget that we work to each month, and it is our team’s job to deliver results within that budget. To do this, I have learned that it is important to make our ads effective and relevant.
At first, I found managing budgets, bidding on keywords, and writing ads quite daunting, but now it’s second nature.
The Team
Everyone at KOG has been very welcoming to me. It is always a little scary when you start a new job, especially when you have just graduated, but I couldn’t be more pleased with the amount of support I have been given so far.
What’s Next
Over the next few months, I will once again collaborate with our clients to create ads for their spring and summer offer campaigns, and I look forward to continuing to expand my learning and understanding of all things marketing.
Josh has been a superb addition (also surviving a few late-night works dos), and really impressed in the short time he’s been with the company, reaffirming our belief that new graduates have so much to offer to us.
