Only a few weeks on from welcoming a new SEO Manager and Content Marketing Strategist into our prospering agency, we have recruited again.
Isabelle (‘Izzy’) Canty has been hired, who in her appointed role of Social Media Executive will be helping mastermind and deliver client paid campaigns, supported by Senior Social Exec, Fay Watchorn.
Securing the vacancy crowns a whirlwind 12 months for Izzy since graduating last year from the University of Leeds.
It was there she completed a Textile Design degree, in which she gained essential marketing insight in branding and advertising and learned of the importance of maintaining customer relationships.
As part of her studies, she also got to plan a sophisticated marketing campaign for an outdoor and streetwear bag company, successfully increasing the social media following of the brand and contributing to improved sales figures.
Then came along a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work in Costa Rica, doing a three-month internship as a Marketing, Social Media and Communications Assistant at Wild Sun Rescue Centre.
Located in the Nicoya Peninsula and dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of local wildlife, she had to develop and utilise Spanish language skills to work with both the rescue centre team and its clients.
Furthermore, it offered an avenue of acquiring skills in photography, videography and design for use in on and offline collateral, crafting engaging social media captions, organising online webinars, and liaising with external businesses.
The experience accelerated her yearning to launch a permanent marketing career back on home soil.
Wowed by the prowess illustrated in her interview and palpable enthusiasm for the discipline, we were happy to give Izzy the platform to follow that dream and assigned her with LEADOLOGIST™ status.
Izzy couldn’t be more excited about it, commenting: “I’ve wanted to pursue a career in marketing, particularly B2B and B2C digital and brand marketing, for several years now.
“I’m only just into my employment at DigitalKOG, but I already get the sense that entering the digital marketing space will be everything I imagined and more and cannot wait to contribute towards elevating our clients’ brands and revenue streams.”
DigitalKOG’s Managing Director, Steven Ormand, is encouraged by Izzy’s first couple of weeks and glad to have provided a further opening for a promising young marketer to join us, saying this: “The job is a fantastic gateway into marketing for Izzy, allowing her to devise and work on lots of exciting campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and X.
“She has a natural inquisitiveness and desire to get involved, learn, and develop, characteristics that will be priceless assets for DigitalKOG and our client roster.”
Job vacancies within the business are published on our careers page as and when they become open, so keep returning to it if LEADOLOGY™ sounds like a marketing artform you relate to.
