ERG Set For Another Record Year After September Sales Surge
ERG Scotland has just joined the ever increasing list of DigitalKOG clients to achieve an all-time record sales month in 2020 by announcing a sales total of over £650K in September.
It is no mean feat when you consider that the family-run, Invergordon-based company has been around for over 40 years, and it puts them firmly on target to also break their current annual sales record for the second year in a row.
(You can read here about our role in helping ERG enjoy their biggest ever money-making year in 2019.)
With two months to go until the conclusion of 2020, the Conservatory Outlet Dealer is currently projected to hit annual sales well in excess of £4m, as the business suffers no adverse effect from the pandemic.
It could have been a completely different story this year had they held back investing in marketing when forced to cease installations and close their showroom for several months, but they didn’t.
Continued investment from them enabled our LEADOLOGISTS™ to go on executing digital campaigns conceived to draw in high lead volumes during the most tumultuous period.
Market demand for home improvements was tremendously strong north of the border throughout lockdown, and we used all of our experience to put ERG in pole position for a huge level of customer acquisition across their digital channels.
It was then down to ERG’s team of sales representatives to convert as many of these enquiries into sales as they could, which they did very successfully, despite only having three full-time sales representatives, two of whom possessed less than 12 months industry experience.
”“Our decision to continue to invest in sales and marketing at a time of genuine uncertainty ultimately proved to be the right one, as homeowners being stuck inside created an added impetus to improve or extend their homes.
“Our wholehearted thanks go to DigitalKOG for being such a proactive marketing partner, and for always going above and beyond to help us accomplish new milestones.”
